About Sedona Rent

Why a rental site for Sedona, where more homes are let by the night than by the year: what it covers, how listings get here and how it pays for itself.

Sedona Rent lists homes and apartments to rent in Sedona, Arizona, for a few nights, a month or a season, or on an annual lease, furnished or unfurnished. Prices are nightly, weekly or monthly, whichever the owner lets by.

Why a rental site for Sedona

Renting here is lopsided. The city's draft housing data analysis, dated 26 February 2026, found more of the town's homes let by the night than by the year, and put 80.2% of the people who work in Sedona living outside it, on 2022 Census data. Nightly platforms carry much of what is on offer and price a three-month stay as a run of nights. Annual leases are few, and most of them are whole houses.

Between the two are people who need weeks or months rather than a weekend: a retiree trying the town before deciding, a remote worker staying through the quiet months, someone on a healthcare contract, a seasonal worker. On the other side are owners whose nightly bookings thin out in July, August, January and February, and who would rather have one tenant for those months. This site is for both.

What we cover

Listings and guides cover Uptown, the walkable core where most lets are nightly or weekly; West Sedona, the residential half, with the supermarkets and most of the new rental building; and the Village of Oak Creek, an unincorporated community south on SR 179, outside the city. The guides go into when owners will give up their weeks, what a month costs once winter heating, water and the separate wastewater bill are counted, and where to live, including the Verde Valley towns and the fire and flood risks that come with some addresses.

How listings get here

Owners send us their place. We write the listing, check the facts and publish it. We re-check every listing within thirty days and print the date of that check on the listing; a listing nobody confirms is unpublished after sixty days. In a town where the same house can take nightly guests in October and a monthly tenant in January, that date is worth reading before the photos.

How we make money

Listing is free for owners. We take no commission on any rental, and tenants pay us nothing. The site earns from advertising and from affiliate links to hotels and tours, always marked as such. Our disclosure sets out how that works.

What we never do

We hold no money, sign no contract on anyone's behalf, and never publish an address without the owner's explicit permission. The lease, the deposit and the keys are arranged between you and the owner. If anything on the site is wrong or out of date, tell us and we will fix it.
